Every puzzle on this site has a large-print PDF, and this page gathers the ones that suit it best: the numbered Easy Crossword series and the themed puzzles written for older solvers. In the large-print version the squares are bigger, the clue type is larger, and each puzzle gets a page to itself, so there is no squinting at tiny numbers in the corner of a box.
Bigger squares help as much as bigger letters. There is room to write a clear capital without touching the lines, which matters for anyone using a thick pen, a shaky hand or reading glasses that are not quite strong enough.
The answer key is the second page of the standard PDF, so a helper can print it once and hold onto it while the group works from large-print copies. The large-print sheets fit US Letter and A4, and the same puzzle can also be played on a tablet.

Use the large-print button on any puzzle page, not the standard print button, and check that the printer is set to actual size rather than shrink to fit. Choose the clue set before printing: the Easy clues are short and direct, and the Medium and Hard sets use the same grid if someone wants more of a challenge.
For a group, print one large-print copy per person plus one for the leader to fill in as answers come. A black felt-tip pen shows up well on the larger squares and is easy to read back.
